Hello Folks!
We all need a giggle sometimes. This still makes us laugh like drains.

You may recall when Cecilia Giminez took her brush to Ecce Homo in The Sanctuary of Mercy Church near Zaragoza.
An official declared, “The once-dignified portrait now resembles a crayon sketch of a very hairy monkey in an ill-fitting tunic.”
Naturally we at Gfb did our bit to restore the restoration so to speak.
When revisiting our handiwork, we noticed a similarity to another well known ”hairy monkey in an ill fitting tunic”.
Whaddya think?

The restored restoration is now perfect, as is GWB [great choice of photo!]
Thanks Marina – Too good an opportunity to miss!
I have to agree with you on Maria’s artwork. I would love to have seen the face of whoever first came upon her “restoration” of the original. The entire episode is so ludicrous I can’t help me chuckle. And I don’t know where you got the photo of GWB…but there is an uncanny likeness, I agree. This is the best morning chuckle I’ve had in a long time! Brilliant…both color and context! Debra
Thanks Debra – I was having a chuckle about the Fresco (as I do most days since it appeared) and remembered the Photo of Dubya. Glad it made you giggle.
So that’s what the ‘W’ stands for… ‘Wiggyman’
Exactly!
GWB has finally achieved his destiny !
Hooray!
Oh my. That is hilarious. And, I love your new avatar.
Thanks Andra!
Well done!
Cheers
I knew there was a divine attribute of George. Signed, A. Gore
I heard his chads were giviing him trouble still.
Not sure if this supports or refutes Bush as a fresco. http://www.theonion.com/articles/george-w-bush-returns-to-america-after-spending-4,29688/
Brilliant – I think I saw him as an extra in Crouching Tiger
Oh my … glad I was able to team with you to keep others informed!
